A LITTLE ABOUT ME

Hello! I’m a Hoosier, godparent, kahu, auntie and Army Veteran. My artistic journey has taken me to some of my favorite retreats, including Ke’ena Point, Beeline Highway, Valles Caldera, Turquoise Trail, Ozark Hillsides, Blue Ridge Appalachian Mountains, and Montauk Point.

Now retired, my professional background is in digital media and web communications, honing my career in public relations, content management, social media strategy, photography, and videography. Impactful roles I served with were the Department of Defense in Hawai’i, the Department of Veteran Affairs in New Mexico and Washington, D.C., the Indiana Veteran Initiative (INvets), the Department of Agriculture, and the Social Security Administration. One of the most fulfilling aspects of my military career was working directly with Iraqi juvenile children and focusing on unit retention. I continue advocating for and preventing Veteran suicide.

I hold a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Indiana University.

As an artist, my work primarily involves oil painting and photography, aiming to capture simple moments of contentment. It is my nemesis. As someone who fought for our freedom, someday it will find me.
