a little about mE

I am a born-and-raised Hoosier, godparent, auntie, fur momma, artist, and veteran. My retreats are the mountains of Oahu, Turquoise Trail, Valles Caldera, Blue Ridge Mountains, Old Town Alexandria, Bay Ridge Brooklyn, Montauk Point, Edisto Beach, Story Inn, and Turkey Run.

ABOUT MY WORK

I am a classically trained digital media, photography, videography, and painting professional. My passion lies in veteran advocacy and suicide prevention. I am currently employed by the Department of Defense in Oahu, Hawaii. I have previously worked with organizations such as the Defense Finance Accounting Services, the Social Security Administration, the Department of Agriculture, the Indiana Veteran Initiative (INvets) nonprofit, and the Department of Veteran Affairs in Washington, D.C., and New Mexico.

I hold a Master of Arts degree from Saint Mary of the Woods College, which I completed in February 2024. My Bachelor of Fine Arts degree is from Indiana University's Herron School of Art + Design. While in the military, I attended the Institute of Art and Design in Chicago, Ivy Tech, and the Southwest University of Visual Arts.

My work primarily captures the simple moments of contentment to which I am addicted to finding. As someone who has fought for that feeling of freedom, someday it will find me.
